Introduce yourself to our audience. Tell us who you are and what you are currently focused on.
I am currently the Regional Commercial Manager for our Dallas / Bentonville territory for Avery Dennison’s Retail Branding & Information Solutions Division.

We’d love to hear more about your career path. What led you to where you are today?
I’ve been working for Avery Dennison for 15 years in various roles. My main focus has always been our products and our customers. What I love most is that this industry is constantly changing and evolving and there’s always something new and innovative to share with our customers.  We are constantly seeking to improve our products and our performance to remain a leader in this industry.  

What project have you worked on that you’re most proud of? Why?
I worked on a Speed Initiative that focused around our item development process. I am proud of that project because speed is so important in our industry right now. It was something that benefited our customer directly. Yet, it also gave our internal team a more stream lined efficient process to work in. It was a win / win and has been well received both internally and externally.

What advice would you offer future leading ladies wishing to break into your industry?
These are a few things I would like to go back and tell my younger self.   You are in charge of your own career path. Trust your instincts. Never stop being curious. Graciously admit to your own mistakes.  Don’t lose your confidence along the way.

What is one piece of advice you’d offer working moms?
Don’t be so hard on yourself.  All the working Moms I know out there are killing it.
