In 2016, Charney’s second wind came to life by introducing Los Angeles Apparel to wholesalers in the fashion world. While ensuring his commitment to quality apparel, and providing a living wage to local workers, he continues his quest in designing and developing trendy clothing with a business model unlike other apparel companies. By creating so-called “chaos,” Los Angeles Apparel continues to challenge the norm in all parts of the process and raises the bar with quicker manufacturing turn-around, less material waste, using textiles and yarns all made in the USA, and all their garment pattern making, grading and cut and sew are done under one roof.
